Night photoshoot around the City Centre
I am not a regular visitor in Qatar and photography is my hobby. The night scenery near and around the City Centre is quite beautiful to capture in photograph and I am interested to it. I am a bit hesitant to do so 'coz I don't know if there are any restriction concerning to security matter. Do I need to seek permission first before taking photographs of any building?

No ...with exceptions to military sites which you'll see a sign. You sound like you're based in KSA where even a tel. pole is forbidden to 'shoot'. :)

Forbidden to photoshoot a ...Forbidden to photoshoot a telephone pole in KSA? lol... that's a nice one Hu Wan. Well, I just want to be sure 'coz I heard a story from a hotel employee that a police officer had threatened to confiscate the camera of a foriegner from taking a photo of a building near the City Centre the reason I'm asking. Thanks!
