Minimum is QR 2000/- for a good car. cheaper Rental cars are all crap and dangerous.

.I just rented a 2012 Kia Picanto for a couple of days while my car was being serviced. I paid 80 per day and the car is by no means dangerous! It pulls away quickly and I feel very safe in it. Don't always think bigger is better!

Try Oasis they are pretty good..Google oasis rent a car Doha, they have cars and price list..Good luck!

Reg: SALE OF USED VEHICLES IN INSTALLMENTS (EMI)

With reference to your request, we'd like to provide below the details regarding our sale of vehicles in easy instalment plan. Please go through the notes below and if interested in going forward, kindly contact us on the number/s given hereunder or visit our office to discuss the deal further:
- The vehicle will be under special rental terms and conditions until all the installments are paid within the contracted period.
- Premature termination is not permitted (Exceptions are subject to T&Cs)
- All periodic repairs and maintenance, insurance etc. shall be the responsibility of the buyer from the date of handing over
- The vehicle has to be comprehensively insured during the entire life of the R2O sale contract
- The vehicle cannot be taken out of the country till ownership is registered in buyer's name.
- Deals for used vehicles are concluded on "as is where is" condition. Buyer encouraged to satisfy his/her requirements prior to buying or concluding the deal.
- Vehicle will not be transferred to buyer name until all installments are fully paid.
Documentation required: PDCs (Post dated Cheques) + security cheques, copies of your Passport, Qatar ID, Driving License, proof of income and residence, signed agreement form. No guarantors are required. In case of company, all documents must be signed by authorised signatories whose signatures are validated in the computer card. (copy of C.R., Municipal permit, computer card and partners ID copies are required if buying in the name of company).
Advance payment: You will be required to pay a minimum of 3 months EMI rental charges upfront. (The higher you pay DP the less your EMI burden and you get the ownership faster). Post dated cheques are required for the remaining period only. Premature closure of contract with full payment is permitted without any additional charges. Vehicle shall be transferred to client’s name immediately upon realization of full payment.
Rates: Prices varies from vehicle to vehicle and duration. The following are the rates based on 26 monthly payments:-
Suz. ALTO 2008 M/T - QR. 600 X 26;
Honda CITY P2008 A/T - QR.1,600 X 26;
Mits/Lancer 2009 A/T - QR.1,600 X 26
Honda Jaaz P2008 A/T - QR.1,600 X 26;
Nissan X Trail 2007 A/T - QR 2,100 X 26;
NB: Please note that R2O vehicle is available by advance BOOKING only and not on spot basis. We welcome you to our office to inspect the vehicle at your convenience, by prior arrangement please.

I used to use them in 2008-2009. 1500 QAR a month for manual nissan sunny / mitsubishi lancer. They were usually about 5 year old cars, but they worked.. Give them a ring and just ask for the cheapest junk of a car, that's how i did my negotiation :)
