Vacuum cleaner
A new vacuum cleaner salesman knocked on the door on the first house of the street.
A tall lady answered the door.
Before she could speak, the enthusiastic salesman barged into the living room and opened a big black plastic bag and poured all the cow droppings onto the carpet.
"Madam, if I could not clean this up with the use of this new powerful vacuum cleaner, I will eat all this s...!" exclaimed the eager salesman.
"Do you need chilli sauce or ketchup with that" asked the lady.
The bewildered salesman asked, "Why, Madam?"
"We just moved in, & there's no electricity in the house!"

In addition to your story - I worked for an American (Cleaning products) direct sales company, and one of our distributers went to a customer to demostrate the new carpet cleaner.
It was an oriental carpet (red) on top of beige wall to wall carpeting, needless to say during the process the dye from the oriental carpet went through to the beige wall to wall carpet. After trying to remove the new red stain the wall to wall carpet which he tried to elimate with other agents, the piece of carpet disintegrated and the Oriental carpet had a large area where the dye went out completely.
This is a true story needless to say the customer sued the company.
Acually in days when I was young many salesmen came to the door ant the first thing they did was to stick their foot in so the door would not be closed on them. lol

That was a good one! LOL. Yeah I can imagine how difficult it must be for a sales person to sell, who doesn't believe in his own product.
