Away ya wee Scots... I'm painting my KIA Red and White for the day....
ENGLAND will be painted red and white today as millions salute the patron saint.

Proud Bishop of Rochester Rt Rev Dr Michael Nazir-Ali urged clergy to hold dedicated services. He said: “St George came to personify the importance of conscience at the time people in England were beginning to emphasise the value of liberty.
In London, Mayor Boris Johnson will launch celebrations with an open-top bus ride into the City to go for a traditional English meal.
He said: “St George epitomises the great character and creativity of English people. It is a chance for people of every creed and colour to celebrate England and Englishness.”
The White Lion pub In Portishead, near Bristol, is celebrating by donating 50p from every pint sold to troops charity Help for Heroes.
In Ambleside, Cumbria, a caravan park is offering visitors a free pitch if they can show their “allegiance” to St George.

tallg.. ...The Bishop of Rochester, Dr Michael Nazir-Ali,is Pakistani born. The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu is Ugandan-born
Dr. Nazir Ali recently said that he is to step down early to work for persecuted Christians. He is encouraging churches across the land to ring their bells and fly the flag of St George. A service to commemorate the saint is being held at Rochester Cathedral today.
I liked his comments regarding the danger of “collective amnesia” about national identity in the name of multiculturalism. (Two fingers to the PC brigade:0))
