exhibitions?
I used to see some years ago nice exhibitions in Al-Bida park , city center -here and there in Qatar .Nowadays I do not see any .Can you tell me why ?
I am an amateur artist interested in applied arts ,abstract ,photo ,art-nouveau .

kids (under 12 years)will be all welcome in the center from 9 to 21 december for FREE trial sessions. our activities include: crafts, sketching and painting,sculpture and tie die,cooking and gardening, etiquette and more... classes for kids are from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm. mothers and todlers are welcome from 8:30am to 12:30pm. 1 session is 60 mn long. we will have the pleasure to e-mail the details and contacts to you, . send us your contacts on : dohalittleartist[AT]yahoo.co.uk

sorry I havent been on qatarliving for a while now. Yes I did do all the water colours myself. If you visit my blog again I have just updated it with some Vegetable and Fruit inspirational designs - all mine too. Please have a look and comment.
As for Tasmeem - I missed it - my daughter was ill. But one can just go without having to join. visit the VCU official website for information. Next year maybe. But VCU does have programs for people outside the college - design related..

It would be great if you would also describe in your own words your feeling as you walked in the space or saw it .... I am a great believer in feelings.. buildings and interiors anywhere in the world ---old, new, vernacular, historic.....

Brainstorming Qatar Arts Enthusiasts ...Hello,
I would like to introduce myself. I am an architect and interior designer with a passion for design. I believe quality in design affects our lives positively and is something we should all aim for.
I am happy to be the administrator of this group and would like to hear from all of you what your aspirations and plans are for this group and how we can go forward and make something significant out of it – showcase our individual talents and interests.
There is a lot of talent out there. Please share your talents or an interests with the rest of us. We could hold exhibitions and exchange ideas. I am a firm believer in the power of the internet and e-communication. I deliver designs purely by online communication – from the beginning to the final concept design.
I would appreciate it if you would take the time to start a brainstorming session for the development of this group.
