APP ...APP stands for "Associated press of pakistan"..
If you read through the news reported by the indian press, they have not mentioned the community as this is usually a fuel to increase violence.
I wonder what harm India does to pakistan that they always target the peace and integrity of india.
I would only want to tell the pak press to help their own country and not aggrevate things in the other country.

There were communal clashes ...There were communal clashes in Mysore on Thursday but if that's not tragic enough, a 14-year-old boy was also killed when police fired to bring the clashes under control.
Communal clashes in Mysore in Karnataka on Thursday left three dead.
The situation is quiet now with prohibitory orders in place but extra forces have been called in.
The clashes between two communities were reported near a mosque in Udayagiri. Two men were injured -- they died later in hospital. Police resorted to several rounds of lathi charges to bring the situation under control.
"By evening seemingly there is some quiet atmosphere but we are watching the situation carefully -- getting forces from outside to supplement our forces and our forces are trying to maintain law and order. Three people died because of the clash. Police firing was by rubber bullets and that has not hurt anybody leading to death," said V S Acharya, Home Minister, Karnataka.
As in any such communally tense situation there is a need for calm and police have asked people not to listen to rumours.
"We have sent more force there, more officers from the neighbouring districts, senior officers ADG law and order is reaching there. And currently situation is well under control. We confirmed that three people have died. But then people should not indulge in rumour mongering and should not believe in rumours," said Ajai Kumar Singh, DGP, Karnataka.

Ashfaq chill.. that kind of ...Ashfaq chill.. that kind of violence will not last and these things keep happening in bangalore and mysore as i had been there all my student life. The local media controls such situations in a very good way. the next day newspaper usually contains a small report of the said event and would not mention in detail about the incident.
It is always usually an external force playing the fool inorder to gain political mileage.

Sandeep ...what do u mean..? the clashes r rumors or u don't understand what DGP told to people of mysore...? when Muslims does something they become terrorist and when other com unites like Hindus provoke then that becomes rumors for you..? that is what u are trying to tell..?
thalib01 said
Mr. Ashfaq...... ...relax dude..... you are igniting communal violence here...
whats happened in mysore is very negligible.
and to support what sandeep said. he meant that the DGP has mentioned that further violence can be reduced by preventing rumors .
GET IT!!!! Now stop creating a stir atleast in the name of god.

Ashfaq ...get real, the point you try to make is communal violence and muslims being targetted, and now you are talking about a 14 year old who died. please stick to one point or have a fixed mind.
Ashfaq, iam not trying to run you down or have anything personal. It should be noted that when you are on public forum, you need to ensure that whatever you type is what you can actually tell someone face to face. also stick to a point.

I have always condemned the way Indian police uses actual bullets instead of rubber bullets to disperse crowds... and the bullet doesn't ask religion be4 killing sum1, so lets try not to escalate the hatred, rather try to diffuse it...

In India, most of us respect ...In India, most of us respect each others religion. But not everyone. Thats the problem Not everyone thinks alike. There are those radical Right wing Hindus. They still think they can make India a Hindu only nation(Ahmadinejad syndrome). These fundamentalists are the same everywhere except they can never gain the upperhand in India. But that does not prevent them from stemming some communal agitation whenever and wherever possible.

ashfaq, which country are u ...ashfaq,which country are u from..If u are from India,u would know how people of either community are played/brainwashed by some vested interests( from both communities)..and then all hell breaks loose in the name of religion..what you are doing here is only helping those kind of incidents..so chill,n remember that ultimately being a good human being is what god expects from you..

can't equate a clash with religious intolerance ...These clashes are politically motivated, always is... religious tolerance is finely meshed with Indian DNA... diverse religious beliefs are are mutually respected in India than many other places... But people end up using religion for their own petty gains, like the way that PM used it to isolate Eco from the thread... its the divide and rule policy...

STOP! Just GOOGLE !!!!!! ...As I did..
Lots of newspapers reporting it.
It did happen. People were killed and it will probably happen again..
These "happenings" are more to do with lack of education, the herd mentality and manipulation by the religious leaders.
Rather than wearing rose coloured glasses and espousing the "We are Perfect" mantra, we all need to work together to erradicate this type of behaviour..
Thankyou for allowing this rant first thing in the morning. I'll now go off and continue polishing my KIA..
verisimilitude said
Nobody says we are perfect ...Lives were lost and it does happen every now and then in parts of the country... of course that's not good
But the important thing is that things are taken in perspective and in the right context...
Most people here agree that religious violence in India is politically motivated and that makes a world of difference
When people blame politically incited motives instead of genuine racial/communal hatred for these incidents... it keeps the whole country from being reduced to a powder keg ready to explode every time an incident like this happens...
The current election results are indicative of how the country is coming to terms with this sad reality in Indian politics, but if the votes are any indication, this kind of political coloring of racial tensions would fade in the coming years...
The people of Mumbai have set a great example in the way they handle tragedies such as these and still move forward... the rest of the country are learning from it...

It's funny to read how some ...It's funny to read how some people express themselves. The second post by thalib01 states that it was reported by Pakistani media and Indian press did not mention the word community. Indian media did mention the word 'community'. Despite people have quoted references, you have not changed your stance.
And your question where you wonder 'what harm India does to Pakistan that they always target the peace and integrity of India'. People like you without thinking for a while, use their tongues and keyboards to bash and accuse Pakistan for 'everything' that goes wrong in India. This mentality stirs up anti-Pakistani and anti-Islamic sentiments.
At an individual level we should promote peace, tolerance and humanity, human values should stand above India-Pakistan or Muslims-Nonmuslims issues. Let the politicians take care of the dirty politics; why should we be swayed by this?
