Arabic language questions

I understand that the same Arabic word "Hawa" meaning something like 'base desires' also means in other contexts, 'to fall', as in Surah Najm, where it says, "By the Star, if it falls" (wal najm, idhal hawa).
So, first, if I am making a mistake, then correct me.
Second, if I am not mistaken, isn't it interesting that the same word has these two meanings?
Does it seem to imply a connection between the influence of one's base desires and the action of falling?

Very interesting.. And I wonder if it had a third meaning that is especially related to stars or planets.. Astronauts (as far as I know) say that stars are actually suns that "die"
