You shouldnt ask for my opinion ...Dude they have got some really ill mannered muslim nurses in there. I hate to say this as I am a muslim.
Last month while skateboarding and doing some moves I lost control and fell on a railing and got a deep gash close to between my legs. So I go to the health center, the doctor sees it and sends me to some muslim nurse for bandage, She asks me where it is, I point her between my legs and she tells me to wait. I wait there for 30 minutes till she finds a filipino nurse who comes in and does the bandage.
What the hell would these Muslim female nurses, doctors do if they had to give someone mouth to mouth resuscitation?
(sorry I cannot do it, it is against my religion, I cannot touch a stranger specially his mouth)

Health system here is pretty ...Health system here is pretty bad...My hubby went to the eye clinic, and the doctor hadnt heard about it before...as he had been previously been treated for this in Australia, he proceeded to tell her about the condtion and previous treatment and what to prescribe for him...Now thats really bad for an eye specialist...He also had to visit 5 pharmacies just to get the eye drops needed. Lets just say i hope we never have to get treated for anything serious in Qatar.
Also twice we went to the American Hospital to see a GP for our son who had some sort of allergy and there was no available GP or skin specialist and this is meant to be a hospital??? I wonder what would happen in an emergency??

i use company clinic ...i use company clinic.In emergency i take my son in Hamad pediatric in Al Saad ... they are very good in that. As far as you can provide them with your health card, no question ask. The nurses and the doctors are very helpfull. Also the fees very affordable.
My son felt at school ... and we had to take him to Hamad Emergency. They good in emergency cases (my son need CAT scan and Xray because he had acute concussion). Not very impressed with the nurses service ... but overall i cant complain with the service.
Nadt ... i wont recommend American Hospital ... i only been there during my delivery ... and not impressed at all. I suggest you should get your health card done for the whole family... especially for the kid/s ... it is very handy.

hi novitta how r u dear..u ...hi novitta how r u dear..u back in Q? I have to agree with u on that, American Hospital leaves a lot to be desired. We have private cover through the company my husband works for, so fees arent an issue..its just service that is, I hear Doha clinic is good although i havent tried it yet. Novitta, any advice about the childrens hospital, is that any good?
