Do people in Doha like customising their rides?
Hi,
I have a business in South Africa and am moving to Doha. My business designs/manufactures/imports alloy wheels for all types of vehicles like Hummers, BMW, MBenz, Ferrari etc etc and I was wondering whether people in Doha who drive these types of vehicles would actually fit aftermarket alloy wheels onto their motorvehicles.
Any info would be appreciated.

customisation is catching up.. ...qatar is yet to have a really professional body and wheel shop.. there are a lot of wheel shops but the collection is usually restricted to 5 nut alloys,very few choices are available on 4 nut alloys.. my ride has 17" 4 nut alloys now and i have been looking around for a different set(deep dish design) but in vain.
A full fledged body shop wud do really well here, especially cos almost everyones pefers to have theirs rides looking unique..
Let us know if you set up shop here, we would probably be your first customers..

Yup specially that there is ...Yup specially that there is allot of qatari Kids who doesn't care about their money
they just pay what ever the coast is
& there is the other half of normal people who would like to get their cars done but with a reasonable prices
I'd like 2 customize my car but here in Doha we have a very stupid law
If 4 example i customized my car and after a couple of days an idiot crashes into me even if it's his false the insurance company will give u the company regular parts
It's just 4 some people a wast of money
that's my opinion But it will be a great business go for it & good luck

customising in the sense.. ...customising in the sense.. music systems allows are happenin here.. vinyl stickers and body mod's havent seen much.. and engines not really.. the speed limit is bad here... a normal car can outbeat it..

Customizing cars. The Qatari ...Customizing cars. The Qatari youth is crazy about it. They all want their car to look individual. They now go to Dubai and have their Landcruiser cut to look like a pick up or put a special colour on it. I think a good body customizing shop would do very good business. Just make sure you have lots of different ideas cos as I sad they all want their car to look special and different.
