Live out maid

Is is possible to find a maid/nanny who speaks spanish? We are looking for a nanny/maid to work during the day ( 8am - 5PM) and babysit ocassionally.

My guess is that you'd end up paying through the nose -- the price that maids charge in the US/Canada/Europe. Looking through the housemaid catalogues at several housemaid agencies in Doha, I never saw anyone who spoke Spanish (only Arabic or English). That means the cheap housemaids are not your option!

Real life...You can easily find a housemaid to work for you who is sponsored by others. Put an ad in QL Classifieds or Search here for housemaids. Do you want to sponsor her? I yes, then you have to provide housing (somewhere).

This is a very personal choice...very hot topic...for me, QR1200 is reasonable.

You gotta be firm with the live-outs so tell them EXACTLY which duties you want, when you want them, and show exactly how you want them done. I'd think any duty would be reasonable when they are working for you, within reason. DOn't go nuts. Cleaning house, childcare, and car-washing are all reasonable.
