I am new on this website and not a maharashtrian. I am an indian from pune currently trying to gain as much of information possible about qatar.
I was presently in Qatar on the previous weekend with my folks.
They stay next to the Khalifa Stadium. I have been to the Ramada hotel (CUBE), Sheraton, Four Points, Doha City Centre, Doha Rugby club, Vilaageo etc.
Also i would like to mention that i currently work in Dubai in one of the most established company in UAE as a researcher (which cannot be exposed at this stage).
The reason i am trying to get info is as i am presently sponsoring my sister's education in Melbourne and facing difficulties to cope up. The salary structure in Qatar sounds promosing, BUT IS IT REALLY SECURED??
I am definately a party maniac as well, lived in UAE all my life. ( 23 yrs old)
Would anybody be able to tell me an estimate price structure of Event Manager, Conference and Banqueting Manager position, Researcher for conventions and exhibitions?
Accomadation and food shall not be an issue as we have a house already in Qatar.
Also on a personal note, i have shopped big time in Qatar, almost similar price range like Dubai, how is the Teenage crowd?, hangouts, chill out zones in Qatar. I am sure that there shall be someone in this group who could help me out with basic information.
