hi ...Rain is really screwing life in Qatar. When it rains in a country after 8 to 9 months, people get happy, but when it rains every now and then they think why did i get happy coz this is really makin my life like a hell.
Always at home, dirty roads, people playing with their cars by splashing the dirty water on the people walking on the roads.. These things happen here...

the worst thing about rain inthe dessert... ...Nothing !! It is absolutely beautiful ! Furthermore unlike other parts of the world lives & livelyhoods are not being destroyed due to the rain.....so think happy thoughts & enjoy the rain.

Thank goodness for 4x4's... ...with all the mud at the exhibition centre and no parking in the parking area... you needed your 4x4 to just get there, park and get out again....

Helping the walkers! ...Where have the streets turned to mud? I've seen mud on streets but not streets turn to mud. Sorry for that Asian chap who got knocked over by a speeding car. It is rough for walkers (slippers is closer to the mark). I feel sorry for them. Is there a way to change this feeling into action by helping these poor souls?
Why is the rain later this year? Last winter, it was in December.

Regarding muddy roads, well this surprise me too, such a TOP NEWS in the world about QATAR but really sorry to say it's still not upto that standard, they have to improve the Roads and Public works/ Municipality departments to improve the quality of roads and pavements.. i remember Abu Dhabi n Dubai was same in early 80's and now you see the difference ...
