Directions: vehicle testing centre
I need to get my car tested on Saturday. Could anyone give me directions to the testing centre near the airport - I've heard it's less busy than the one in the Industrial Area.
Also - does anyone know how much it costs, and what time it opens?

lulu parking ...its in the lulu parking...better start off early as saturdays are pretty busy.....and the charges are around 100 riyal something.

they dont do the testing ...they dont do the testing every day there right?
I heard they do it only on certain days.
If you go to Industrial area during weekdays in the afternoon your tests will finish in 20 minutes.

ngourlay ...bring the wife ... lady dont have to queue, so you can by pass the waiting. We did the testing 2 cars together. Come in the morning you will finish quickier like Stealth said.

Don't forget to get the ...Don't forget to get the License Card of the car renewed. Its called Istimara or something similar to it.

And I heard full coverage is expensive...

ah i see Vegas... since we ...ah i see Vegas... since we been here for nearly 7 yrs ... we only pay minimum for our old car. Which is cost us around 2600 QR for 2 car.

In fact they wouldn't give me full coverage...
Cause it was 2004 model...
I just got the jeep so I wouldn't have to worry about repairs.
And the full coverage ins...Cause I paid 20K+ dollars.
In the long run cheaper than leaseing as I will sell it when I leave.
And with this weather and the bad roads...I'm glad I did...
