There is something ...There is something fascinating about bad boys. It breaks the cycle of norm for some of the girls, that's why, especially for those who grew up in a sheltered, routinary environment.
That is just my analysis, though. I was involved with a bad boy before. It turned out he was not just a bad boy, but more like a psycho. I dumped him at the nearest garbage bin.

not necessarily bad boys... ...but boys who look rough and unshaven, living on the edge, survivor, street-smart, athletic, devil-may-care attitude...good girls are attracted to them because they are their exact opposite and it is more thrilling for most good girls to be with them...it gives them the feeling of being secured - like damsels in distress saved by the knight in shining armor...

- Hmm..I grew up in a reasonably sheltered, routine environment BUT I prefer good guys. Bad boys are too much trouble and I don't have the time to keep second guessing him. Better have someone I can trust / depend on than someone who wastes too much time and effort to take care of.
