Family Visit Visa..

sa airport, of course passport, visa, ticket and clearance from Qatar Embassy...

tignan pa natin sagot ng iba...:)

treysdad's picture

treysdad said Family visit visa ...

What is needed at the airport (Philippines):
1. Qatar visit visa
2. Authentication letter from Qatar Embassy.
3. Passport
4. Ticket (NOTE: has to be round trip ticket for visit visa holders. This is the latest requirement... I forgot... sorry tao lang po! If it is not roundtrip ticket and your visa is visit visa - family, tourist or business - they will question you at the airport. They will hold your departure)
5. Payment for terminal fee
6. Copy of marriage contract (just in case, since husband is not Filipino they may need to check this) ...and also because the husband's name appears on the visa and the authentication letter as the SPONSOR..

NBI clearance is not needed.

Please note that visit visa is only one month. If she stays longer than one month then she has to go to the Medical Commission to be allowed extension visa. She will also need her birth certificate together with the marriage contract if this happens.

hello pinoy & pinay folks in  Qatar,

these are the relevant websites I just gathered re: subject.

happy reading n i hope these help!

Need to research ano itong NO OBJECTION LETTER FROM SPONSOR.  May be you can help!

(and of  course, kanino kukunin o sino ang sponsor?)  Anyone who knows? Thanks!

dagdag:  Qatar embassy website sa Pinas:  www.qaembassymanila.org at ang email address:  qmanila/-a-t-/info.com.ph

Any Qatar immigration / visa requirement, under pala ng Ministry of Interior yan. Pls. see www.moi.gov.qa PO Box 2433, Doha

So base sa pagkaintindi ko, puwede yatang mag sponsor ng pinay n yaya, even kamag-anak o just kakilala, basta may letter of NO OBJECTION sa sponsor and makakuha ang yaya na Pinay ng visa at health requirements, tama ba ito? Pag may time, mag inquire ko sa Qatar Embassy sa Pinas o sa Ministry of Interior.

cheers,

archanjhel said Marriage in Qatar ...

Hello to everone! I sent an inquiry to the Phil. Embassy here in Qatar regarding marriage requirements and this what I got from them:

"I wish to inform you that most of the documents will be processed here at the Embassy. The most important documents both of you need to get first to process your marriage application at the Embassy are the following:

1. Duly authenticated NSO copy of certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR)

2. Duly authenticated NSO copy of birth certificate

3. Certificate of No Objection from your sponsor or company (for you only)

If either one or both of you are below 18 years of age, parental consent will be required.

To acquire Nos 1 and 2 above, you need to apply for a Special Power of Attorney here at the Embassy for the person who will process all these documents in the Philippines .

It is important that the cenomars and birth certificates should be authenticated by DFA before sending these documents here to Qatar .

When the documents have arrived, you may now apply for marriage at the Embassy. Please bring with you copies of your passports and the NOC from your company."

treysdad's picture

treysdad said pedroh tungkol sa visit visa mo.... ...

Kung family visit visa... initial nun one month pero puede extend up to 6 months pero kailangan pumunta sa medical commission at magpa-blood grouping para ma-extend ang visa. Upon expiry balik sa country of origin.

Yung business visa... up to 3 months validity. AS far as I know hindi na rin puede extend yun kailangan din exit to country of origin.

Hope this helps,

TD

treysdad said Owen,,.... ...

Dear Owen,

Sabi mo "she is working for a second company" dapat dun yung second company ang umayos ng visa niya transfer from first company (unless pareho ng may-ari/sponsor yun).

Mag renew siya ng visa from the first company.

Hintayin natin baka may iba pang may mas magandang suggestion.

Sumasaiyo,

TD

dags's picture

dags said dear treysdad, ...

magandang araw sayo. nababasa ko yung mga replies mo sa mga queries and i really find it very informative. it seems na sobrang knowledgeable mo about visa. can you also help me on my queries? i just really need your help.

Situation 2: i am a nurse with more than 2 years experience. nag-aaply na ko sa hamad but kailangan my RP na ko for me to be accomodated. so i applied for private hospitals instead. so far, okay naman yung feedback sakin ng mga private hospitals. Yung isang hospital nga, willing na pagstartin na ko pero gusto nilang iisponsor ako kasi di daw ako pwedeng magwork kung nasa visit visa ang status ko but, marami din kasing disadvantage kung iisponsor ako ng hospital ksi, two years muna ako work bago ako pwedeng umuwi though may paid vacation leave and plane ticket ako incase magbabakasyon sa pinas. yun nga lang, medyo mababa ang offer sakin. tinanong ko kung incase magreresign ako kung pwedeng iconvert from hospital sponsor to husband sponsor, di daw pwede.pagnagresign daw ako, need akong umuwi sa pinas at banned for two years bago makabalik dito. pinag-usapan namin ng husband ko, di nga ako magpapasponsor sa hospital kasi incase namay better opportunity na iba, tali na ko sa hospital na magiisponsor sakin.but on the other hand, i really want to start working. medyo di kasi ako sana na magstay lang sa house. at pinangangambahan ko, incase di maapprove yung husband sponsorship ko, syang naman nung opportunity kong magwork now na may gusto ng magsponsor sakin na hospital na nagensure sakin na incase magpapasponsor ako sa kanila, sila na daw bahala sa pag-ayos ng licensing ko and everything. less hssle nga naman sakin sa processing. ang dami pa namang kailangang ayusin sa NHA, embassy, MOI, at MOFA.

hay.... nakakalito naman. hehehehe. so please patulong naman regarding sa visa under husband sponsorship kung sa tingin mo, my husband will be approved. at kung ano din mga tips and considerations na dapat kung maintindihan.salamat

treysdad's picture

treysdad said Dear Dags, ...

I hope everything is fine with you at the moment and I do hope you will have time to attend some of the group's activities.

Anyway, to answer your questions. I have to be truthful to you instead of giving you false hopes as being untruthful would be a disservice to you.

Situation 1: Husband sponsored visa. This is your greatest challenge now as unfortunately the minimum required salary has recently been increased to 7,500 QR. Although there is an appeals committee, there a lot of pending appeals now due to this change in requirement. Your husband should seek the advice from his company HR on this.

Situation 2: I think you have to go back to the reason you went here. Is it to be with your husband or to work? If you wanted to be with you husband in the first place then I think you should stick to having husband sponsored visa instead of being company sponsored. Just find a job that take in husband sponsored employees. Others may disagree with this but this is the surest way to stay here and be with your husband.
However, if your priority is to get a job then you can be company sponsored but you also have to face the consequences of that.
Sometimes you cannot always have the best of both worlds.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

TD

Yes, you can extend to 6 months.

Family visit visa lang ang puede up to 6 months. Business visa yung 3 months.

Since brother mo ito... you will need an affidavit of support... may form nito sa Embassy.

Syempre kailangan ng birth certificate (attested) for proof na magkapatid nga kayo.

Blood grouping (at any clinic here) at medical exam (medical commission) pagdating niya dito.

Hi Treysdad, GUsto ko din magtanong sa'yo, I brought my finacee here and we are getting married next week at the embassy. My question is, possible ba agad n mtransfer ko ung visa nya to be a family visa? I want her to be in my sponsorship... Pls help..

treysdad's picture

treysdad said Sigurado ka ba sa embassy kayo magpapakasal? ...

"returning residents must have a valid passport. residence permit will be invalid if the bearer has more than 6 mons.
outside the country"

nagbakasyun kami nung march 2009.

here goes:

1. my fiancee and i will be getting married this May sa Phil Embassy dito sa Doha.. kumpleto na kami sa lahat ng reqs.. authenticated na din lahat and kasal na lang ang hinihintay.. gusto ko sana na ilipat sya sa kin bilang husband sponsored.. meanin.. ttransfer sana sa kin un visa nya mula sa work nya ngaun.. 1yr na sya dito sa doha.. ako naman e mag3mths pa lang.. posible po ba ito?.. if ever, anu ang mga kailangan na docs?..

2. medyo nagkakatanggalan ng tao sa ofis nila.. may chance na macancel sya at mapauwi sa pinas.. if for example, magsucceed ako na magawa syang husband sponsored bago sya mapauwi.. hindi sya mapapauwi sa pinas diba?.. however, if nacancel sya bago matransfer sa kin.. how soon bago ko sya maibalik dito under my sponsorship?..

marami pong salamat sa inyong tulong.. :)

the way i see it, your main objective is to assume the sponsorship of your fiancee.

1> magpakasal muna kayo..

Atsa awa naman ng diyos ay nakahanap n ng work kaya lang inisip ko, papano na if hahanapan ako ng NBI clearance for my visa.
KAILANGAN BA TALAGA UN AT ANU-ANO PA PO BA ANG MAG KAILANGAN?

tatess's picture

tatess said tabytabs ...

Good Evening po sa lahat ng mga kabayan ko dito sa qatar...I hope you don't mind if i ask another question..

I hav this problem po, and i'm so worried..
We hav our new baby boy in the philippines Feb 14 po ang birthdate nya.. i just went home last march for his baptismal and planned to bring my wife and my baby as soon as possible.. (nakaka home sick po kase ng sobra).

but unfortunately for me the passport of my baby took a long time to process, and only april 30th lang po nakuha..

when i finally hav it printed here (scanned copy) and went to our immigration officer, he said to me to avoid the hassle and bustle of having a visa and authentication process.. i should bring my family here within or less than 3 months cause the immigration don't require infant not more than 3 months to hav a vsa..

I tried to reason out with him, telling him or askinng him na sana kahit consent letter ng comnpany na there is that rule, mahigpit kase sa atin eh.. But firmly he assured to me that there will be no problem..

i told that to my wife this morning and she was afraid also, same reaction like mine.. then she told me another thing about the DSWD letter, when she request for this letter to DSWD office.. they just said that there are no such thing (DSWD letter) and no rules regarding traveling of infant that requires such document.. (now i'm really confused every single pilipino i hav ask, they said we should secure this letter or else we will not be able to bring our baby here..)

Mga kabayan ko.. these 2 things ang talagang bumabagabag ngayon sa isipan ko for i already booked them at sa May 12 na ang flight nila, bago mag 3 mnths ang baby ko...

if anybody hav same situation like i am please advice me.. please....

"you can't manage what you can't measure"

treysdad's picture

treysdad said If either parent is travelling with an infant or a minor.... ...

there is no need for a DSWD letter.

You just need to bring the authenticated birth certificate of the child to be sure in case someone asks. But usually if surnames are the same on the passports, they will not ask.

About the visa, just go through the process of having a visa for your child and wife. I know it will take you longer but just to be safe and secure. They will always check for a visa in our airport (NAIA) even though here they do not for infants not more than 3 months old.
