budget ...This really depends on your budget. The bigger the budget, the better you'll get. Now, for common users, anything Pentium Duo would suffice, with 1GB RAM, 120GB Harddisk, and a hefty video memory - - - let us 128MB maybe.
Second, where the computer is intended for.
By the way, the latest I heard nowadays are Pentium Quad processors, meaning, there are four processors running. But it will still boil down to what you need it for.
You may also surf PC sites so that you'll know what the latest releases and after all this reviews you've made, I think you could better come up with what you really need and how much it will costs you. I hope this comes as a sort of general help for you.

it wont coast that much and you will have a lot of fun with it
oh use an Asus or an Intel 965 mother board
