Magazine ranks world's best airlines

So far as per my experience QA is one of the racist Airline I have ever found. Wn u travel to or from Western or American Countries you get best services from them whereas if u travel to asian or developing countries their service sucks. No blankets, bees flying inside.

I always find the Qatar Airways ladies give their best service on the ground.

Surveys suck! How many people were able to travel on all airlines to be able to undertake an objective comparison? Also, how many people took part in the survey, how were they surveyed and what questions were they asked? Inherent bias' and rope for marketing manipulation!

As we know, it is run by Qatar Airways.
The funny thing is, they have this Duty Free Shop magazine on QA airplanes and they offer many items, including whiskey. BUT....when you are bounding to Doha, they refuse to sell you any alcohol. (They would serve you alcohol to drink on the plane, but they would not sell you any, as long as your final destination is Doha)...This is sooooooo weird

Actually I've never had a bad trip with Qatar Airways. And they are EXCELLENT with kids (much better than Delta).

However, I have to say, my last flight with Fly Dubai was actually really good.

Way better tahsinmim, and their food and in-flight entertainment is way better as well. The only issue is that you need to pay extra for it (but not much).

Emirates is a bit tired now, some of those old British ladies don't have it in them now. Singapore Airlines is good, you can party through the night with them.

I like to test the crews first and their approach to safety on the ground before I get in the plane. I need to check out their reaction to my turbelence.

If you like old wines, you should be flying Air Canada. Some of those French Canadian battleaxes can hardly shuffle down the aisle. Viva Le Unions!!!

ergh, Air Canada or even worse Air Transat. Old Canadian battleaxes who tell me I've had too much too drink and I can't have another one! Shame on them. The nice Asian ladies on QA keep the drinks coming all flight long, although I'm begining to suspect they only do that to take advantage of me when we get back to the hotel.

Airlines of the industrialized nations have well-paid staff, crew and flight attendants. Professional. Most of the non-industrialized nations have crew that are paid slave wages, so the airlines can use the savings on amenities.

I don't want to know where their hands on when you fly them Brit...

Actually Qatar Airways has expanded so much that they have quite a few advantages compared to others:
1. Check in is available up to 36hrs prior to flight.
2. They have multiple flights on almost all days of the week to destinations.
3. They have given themselves (unlike other airlines) the Home advantage. ie Check in can be done last as they have placed themselves nearest to the Airport building and you enter the aircraft directly from the Building through the ramp. For all other Airlines one has to take a bus.

In flight crew & service are ok... Food is bad in all airlines.

The Virgin Airlines should not be on the list. I would replace them with Malaysian Airlines and Qantas. And rejuggle the list...

I should add in Korea girls, real dirty and great fun.

as long Emirates doesn come above Qatar AIrways . Its rigged. Is "Worlds 5 Star Airline" just a tagline Qatar Airways bought the rights for .

BB its not the frequency of flights, number of destinations of expansion pace what is considered , it the Quality.
