Kudos! for the Immigration Department
I was just able to finish my wife's residency visa today.
I wish to give credit to the people working in the Immigration Department for their job well done.
I had a real good day upon finishing everything...
After my wife and i had finished the fingerprint last week, we went to immigration and found out that the result was not yet finished.
At the immigration, they were very good in explaining to me on what to do next. They did speak well in English which did make me smile...
I was advised that since my wife was here before in Doha, all i need to do is go to the CEID and tell them to put the old fingerprint into the new one.
So i went to CEID on the same day, and I told them about it. After 10 minutes, i got what i needed. i went back to immigration spoke to the same person who had helped me, and told me pleasantly to wait 1 minute. Well, i did wait for a minute and presto... I got the visa!
I am actually very happy with this new system...
KUDOS to Immigration team. Let's give them some credit people!

Yes! people at the immigration are quite accurate. ...They did help me a lot during my processing for my maid's visa and now she has a proper visa, They've been very helpful and attentive the same as the staff at the Medical commission and CID Department also human rights.

Efficient Finger Printing in DOHA ...Actually I had a great experience at the fingerprint department this morning too.... they are so advanced with their system that you do not even get your hands dirty with the ink.... awesome.. .and really efficient... I was done in like 10 minutes..... GREAT JOB IMMIGRATIONS!!!!

One month extension ...I went to the Immigration Dept on Sat morning, an officer came to me and told me to come back at 6:00 AM next day.
I turned up on time, lined up at gate 4 for a number. As I did not know the procedure, I was guided to the "Typing office" to get an application form filled in arabic and a letter.
I had to take my kid to school and returned to the Immỉgation Dept at 8:00, picked up a number larger than 250. Within minutes, I was given a visa extension for 1 month.
It was very very efficient, more than 250 people served in 2 hours. The procedure was painless. The Immigration staff are doing a very good job.
