introduce myself!
Hi, just want to introduce myself to the table tennis enthusiasts here.
I'll be at CMU (Carnegie Mellon University) Qatar for a month or so starting in November and I'd love to be able to find people to practice/hit with.
I used to play tournaments in the USA but stopped for while. My USATT rating was 2167. Recently, I picked up the game again when I went to Shenzhen, China. See my blog posting on updating my game, i.e. learning reverse penhold (including video clips):
I'm a professor at the University of Arizona. I'm currently on sabbatical at the University of Tokyo. I play once or twice a week here in Japan with a friend.

You can play at Qatar ...You can play at Qatar bowling Center. We are playing there every thursday from 630 pm onwards.

It would be a pleasure to hit a few balls with you and other guys out there.
I'm practically new here as well in Doha and its beginning to get boring here so i plan to go back to my old sport. I used to play varsity and semi pro, haven't played in ages :(
