I was watching the news last ...I was watching the news last night, the fun trip ended up in a tragedy when the boat capsized where the depth was more than 70 ft and access to the scene was only through the river surrounded by thick forest. Prima-facie the boat capsized when the crowd moved all of a sudden to one side to have a better view of wild animals....More than 40 personnel were confirmed dead and many still missing.... :(

There were discrepancies ...There were discrepancies during the construction phase of the boat itself with respect to balancing. The boat had apparently 2.6 degrees inclination with the vertical and fitness to operate the boat was given ignoring these defects. A well engineered boat would not have capsized if the calculations and other parameters like center of garvity was designed properly.
