Some of your heard Imam Suhaib Webb when he was in Doha a few weeks back. And for the rest, I'm sure you've heard of his name! :-) He wrote a post in his blog that, in my humble opinion, shares with us an appropriate response to the republishing of the cartoons of the
Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, in Danish newspapers. Thought I would share.

samawy: What good do we expect from muslims even? The ultimate form of respect and love we Muslims can and should show to the Prophet, peace be upon him, is to follow - or at least struggle to follow - his beautiful example in all aspect of our own lives. And yet that is not the case in Muslim society. I don't think any of us would ever think to say we disrespect the Prophet, peace be upon him... but we very well could be. It's like they say right? When we point a finger at someone else, three fingers are pointing right back at us!

P.S. My intention is not to lecture... just trying to have a friendly discussion. :-)
