Then please explain to me what the purpose ...of a post dated cheque is... if not to give the person the right to draw money on the date of the cheque, not before.... ie... if I had the money on the day the cheque was issued... there would be no need for the cheque to be post dated.... *dingbats*

If you gave checks to untrusted person or with doubt, you simply can go to the bank immediatly afterwards and change your signature, so the check will return for unverified signature, and the presenter will have to return to the check owner.
