medical confusion

sundance's picture

Hi,
I wonder if someone can please help with some confusion we have around the medical. I am working in Doha and now have my RP. We now need to go through the process for my wife and I believe children. They all now have a visa sticker in their passport (and small blue form) - can someone please confirm:

1 - What exactly needs to be taken to the medical test. I understand two photographs, passport copy, passport visa copy and QR 100?

2 - My children are aged 10, 8 and 6 - do they really need to go for the medical tests - this is a confusing point for us. They have visa's in their passport.

Many thanks for any help,

s

I'm sorry I cannot remember about the paperwork, but about children and medical tests, I can remember that no-one could give me a straight answer to that until we got to the place where they do it, when they said my daughter didn't need to (relief). I think it depends on age, but no-one will say for sure what that is until you get there, but at 10,8 ad 6 I wouldn't think they'd need them, my daughter was 12. The only one they may need is the blood typing test (finger prick) - I got ours done at Al Ahli.
