not all egyptians are bad..i am filipina and my husband is egyptian and he is the best guy in the world..its not about the nationality, its all about personality and how they was raised by their parents..and for your information the egyptians are the oldest civilization in the world who teach the principles and good manners..

The core issue here is bad treatment of a maid by the Sponsor family not the nationality of parties involved, This kind of bad treatment is only because of the Sponsorship rules in this part of the world, which are no short than Slavery. .

Until these are changed the same will happen again and again, either be a flipina, an Eithopean, Indonesian or a Sri Lankan maid.

Sponsorship rule is one thing but animal behaviors of employers is another thing...even if there's no sponsorship problem here, things like this would still happen due to the unacceptable attitudes of some employers.

I dont want to believe that nationality has anything to do with this type of cruelty or misbehave or manners but I have seen the same situation several times especially Egyptians.

I have noticed mostly egyptians are bad in conversation, manners and and far behind with etiquette. Always they are ready to fight. I dont mean 100% egyptian are like that but most of them are. Even I have seen Egyptian ladies are also having the same nature.

I have seen in Qatar 2 Egyptians families in my apartment whose husband was beating his wife very roughly and she was crying all the day. her weeping and crying sound could be listen easily from my flat. I was very disappointed with this type of cruelty but I could not do anything bcoz they were family and having young children.

it is so sad.

Cuz Egyptians like to eat too much and they never punish someone by food . . . but they can fight only.

Labor law give chance for this kind of bad people to do that . . . where is human rights . . .

In the malls I often see them: Domestic helpers of different nationalities come in tow with their employers, with small kids to watch and shopping bags to carry, like robots who does not complain. Then I also see them in food courts or fast food chains without nothing to eat or drink, while their employers are on a different table, eating and unmindful of another person that they need to also feed.

A boy went to a burber (hair dresser) to get his hair cut and the burber nade a bad cut, the egyptian mother saw the boy (her son) and became very angry, she told the boy go to the burber and tell him that he is invited for lunch, the burber became happy, when the burber reached the mother house, he was taken inside and tightened on a chair and the mother came and started beating him.
Really big portion of egyptian women are bad.

sending filipino women to work as domestics here in the MidEast! How many of our women have suffered much, not only from egyptians, but from nationals of the countries they serve in. Here's the the list of countries the most number of abuse our women get: Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar.

We advised her to report it to the police but she was scared because that lady threatened her of putting blame of stealing things from her house..

which purports to have a law and religion so intertwined you won't distinguished one from the other. These countries I have listed have the highest record is abuses according to the statistics, like Jordan which is top on the list.

But there may be more which are undocumented because the govt. simply dismiss, or sweeps it under. How many cases of rape have we read and heard over the news back home. It makes our hearts bleed because each one of them belongs to us. She may be our mother, aunt, or sister. Pisses me much hearing their sad stories. What have they done to deserve such a fate? It's my personal advocacy to discourage any filipina to work in the MidEast as a domestic helper. These places don't deserve the loving and caring that our people are known for.

Let them hire their own kind and do whatever they like for all we care!!!

What has they done to deserve such a fate? I will tell you what have they done. They went to those countries although they know how it is over there. As you have said, you hear lots of rape and abuse stories in those countries. Then why do you send your relatives there?

Religion has nothing to do with it. If this is how your mind is, then i feel pitty for it, because actually Islam respects women and give them all thier human rights. You can think whatever you want about Islam and i won't preach you because I don't see it worth it. I also have my own opinion about your religion.

Wifes in US are abused as well and everywhere else, so don't tell that abuses in Muslim countries are more than anywhere else. If its true, the reason is more of your people tend to work in the middle east. If there are 1 million maid in the middle east and 10 000 maid in europe, then most likely you will hear about more abuses in the middle east.

Egyptians are damm bad peoples.. they dont have the sense at all.. but also they act as they know evry thing..tahy dont know how to care abt the humanity. . in my day to day life i come across soo many egyptians .. all are very bad. they are looking how to cheat people. one man, who is working with me took money from me and with out telling me he left to his country..any how i got the money from his uncle.. after he reaching here in doha he came to me and told me that he forgot to give money..wat an excuse.. again he asked me for som mony i told to get lost..like dat.. dont ever trust EGYPTIANS..

taking this whole matter practically is a phase, and placing curses and the worst words ever on a certain nationality coz anyone of you have a PERSONAL experience with it is another issue, so let's take it step by step.
Western families that maids PREFERE to go to .. those countries have the HIGHST raping, abuse and crime percentage all along with the US, its not me saying its the official counts, and if you dont have any knowledge of that you can watch Hollywood movies, especially the real stories ones based on crimes.
Arab countries have much safer environment, AND MOSTLY IMPORTANT more money that's why western families come here or else why they do, they could stay still at thier home COUNTRY.

Anyhow let's return to our seconed issue, Egyptians are bad ... why coz they have loud voice? all mediterenians have, they fight, also those are features of most of Arabs, but Egyptians tend to win the fight, that's why they r bad, meeting one, two or even 20 egyptians in your whole life wouldnt place anyone of you to judge 80 million population country, you got the scale its 20:80000000 how much is that, do the calculation, as you are smart all of you.
And if everyone of you told me his nationality, I swear to god I will tell you forgery and abuse stories more that you can imagin.
we cant judge on each other absolute judgements coz that sucks, Plus no one here is qualified to do so, so Plz no raciest opinions, no religious openions, and no politics ... as at the end of the day we are all expatriates who left our countries for different reasons, but one aim.

I have a very good Egyptian friend. Can't judge them in general. In any nation there will be bad and good. Let us be cautious always with the people we meet.
