QTEL ADSL - URGENT HELP REQUIRED
WE HAVE TWO VILLAS SIDE BY SIDE....IN ONE I HAVE A QTEL ADSL CONNECTION, NOW I HAVE TO MOVE TO OTHER VILLA FOR A PERIOD OF 2 MONTHS, SO IF I REQUEST QTEL TO SHIFT THEY WILL CHARGE QR 200 FOR LANDLINE AND QR 100 FOR ADSL. BECOZ ITS JUST FOR 2 MONTHS SO I DONT WANT EXPENSE THAT AMOUNT.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO BUY A LONG CABLE WHICH CAN COME FROM THE QTEL OUTLET BOX FROM FIRST VILLA TO MY WIRELESS ROUTER IN THE SECOND VILLA APPROX. 15 MTRS CABLE. THE CABLE TYPE IS THE SMALLER VERSION OF LAN CABLE WITH ONLY TWO PINS.
IF I KEEP MY WIRELESS ROUTER IN 1ST VILLA IT IS NOT GIVING RANGE UPTO THE 2ND VILLA.
YOUR HELP WILL BE APPRECIATE.

That is completely possible. ...That is completely possible. I think that 15m is pretty close to the limit on how long ethernet cables can be though. You shouldn't have any problems though.

Just 15 meters? Mafi ...Just 15 meters? Mafi mushkila go ahead and put the cable. However what cable are u talking about 2 pins? The telephone line? If its telephone line then yes u can buy a long 15 mtrs cable and do that, but if its a "network" cable(keep router in first villa and take network cable to second villa) then i suggest you buy a decent coated cable that will stand the weather. You can check in Sofitel.

If its 25 meters then i ...If its 25 meters then i suggest you buy the telephone cable instead of the network cable. You will then connect the router in your villa with the telephone line coming from the first villa.
