Pinoy Naging Handa Sa Kalimidad

Mas naging “disaster conscious” na umano ang mga Pinoy kung kaya hindi naging seryoso ang epekto ng bagyong Santi. (SALAMAT NAMAN)
Ito ang naging obserbasyon ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo matapos na hambalusin ng bagyong Santi kamakalawa ang malaking bahagi ng Luzon.
Maliban sa taumbayan ay pinuri rin nito ang mga local disaster committees at si Defense Secretary at National Disaster and Coordinating Council (NDCC) chairman Gilbert Teodoro dahil sa pangangasiwa sa monitoring at rescue efforts.
Umaasa at hinikayat din ni Arroyo ang publiko at mga kinauukulan na ituloy ang pagiging agresibo sa disaster preparedness upang hindi na maulit ang trahedyang idinulot ng mga bagyong Ondoy at Pepeng
