10 feared dead in Pindi hotel blast
RAWALPINDI: At least 10 people have been feared dead and as many others were injured as a massive explosion has occurred near Shalimar Hotel behind Pearl Continental (PC) Hotel located on a Mall Road in Cantonment Area of Rawalpindi, on Monday morning, Geo news correspondent Zarghoon Shah quoted police sources as saying.
Rescue teams have arrived on the blast scene, kicking off rescue efforts.
According to police sources, the blast was planted in a vehicle; meanwhile, emergency has been declared in all hospitals as some wounded people were said to be critical in condition including an army major.
According to preliminary information, a loud explosion, could be audible up to far and wide places, occurred at 10:40 am to target law enforcement agencies’ officials meanwhile, security forces’ officials have cordoned off the entire blast site.
It may be mentioned, the GHQ is located 500 yards away from blast site which is a commercial area.

Merging means disaster. It was too different cultures and religions thats why Pakistan got independence in 1947.
We are fighting war for America which is wrong choice from our leaders because they are enjoying benefits from them, Their days are not long.
Afghanistan was not destablised by Pakistan. We helped usa to fight against USSR and Hillary CLinton has accepted the fact that G W Bush has messed up Afghanistan and Iraq.
It is not winning to kill innocent people and destroy others economy. Now because Pakistan has a very long border with Afghanistan so Allied forces has pushed all extremist from Afghanistan into Pakistan. So we are clearing others mess. Unfortunately we are neighbours to India too and they are using it as to fund these terrorist from India to keep destabilising and bombing inside Pakistan.
Why USSR & USA lost in Afghanistan & Vietnam? It is only because of these suicide bombers. But I very prodly let you know that our Brave army is winning.
Once we finish the others mess we shall deal them in a different way.
I hope this is enough for you to know more about us rather then just opening your mouth for a useless comment.
