Qatar Airways sales jobs
Hello,
I am on the short visit to Doha and wondering if personal visit to QR main office may help in obtaining a job with the airline in sales or accounts' departments. In the past I applied a few times on their site but never received a call back. Also the case can be that QR might not like me to join the company.
Maybe someone has an experience in geting a job directly applying in person with them. Do I have a chance?

QR as an employer is notorious for their Hire n Fire policy. Sales manager-Qatar position, all those worked in that position and left has the average life span of 9 months. the situation is vacant still.

what makes u dedicated to ...what makes u dedicated to QA?! specially when the job u looking for can be applied well in other firms.
QA is not worthy employer one shall dream to join unless he's in operations.

Arien... I did both before sales AND account management. Didn't know that QR has such reputation. Why would they be like that? Is is because of the mid management? maybe pay they get? Thanks for the insight anyways. I will give it a second thought.
...but in general do you think that applying in person in Qatar (any company) makes more sense than sending one of hundreds cv from overseas? cheers

wasata is u must have some high contacts in order to get in QATAR AIRWAYS bcoze i tried many times n still trying :(

and indeed QR is not the only one around here. it also looks like i need to sign up for arabic classes soon to make my way around...
