hawker said yes you can, as long as ...

yes you can, as long as there's an NOC from your current sponsor. And your husband salary can meet the minimum requirement set by the government ;)

yes you can, as soon as your husband meets ALL necessary requirements, not only "minimum salary".
no need for NOC from your sponsor.

I mean theoretically she can. But as I emphasize in my each post on the immigration issues questions, every case is different. They might have some other hidden issues, which will prevent her from changing the sponsorship. Like her husband is blacklisted, or some nationality issues, etc. But this is a different problem. The common law is:
-necessary requirements for the sponsored person
- no need NOC from the current sponsor.

well, we have no issues, we are legally married, and we are both working here. But for me, i came here as a household worker just to be with my husband, i worked as an insurance agent back home. Now I wanted to apply for work that suits to my experience and knowledge.
Qatarisun, what are the requirements, and what is the minimum salary required?

By changing your sponsorship, you need to obtain an NOC from your current sponsor before transferring to your husband sponsorhip. You must check also if your husband's salary meet the immigration requirement.

pinoyaccountant said hi m_in_doha, as the new Law stipulates that the ...

minimum basic Salary of your husband must be QR 7,000.00.

The effectivity of the new law is not yet confirmed whether it is already in effect since I heard from some of my friends that they still allowing QR 4,500.00 basic Salary as a minimum requirement for a husband to sponsor his family (wife and kids, if any).

Please take note of minimum BASIC SALARY.

pinoyaccountant said the thread is somewhat confusing but to clarify from what is ...

happening here in Qatar.

If your wife is currently working in one Sponsor/ Company and you need to transfer the sponsorship under husband's, THERE IS A NEED FOR A NOC.

But if you let your wife resigned and return at your country of origin for sometime, YOU DO NOT NEED AN NOC, if you want to Sponsor her to be with you.

thanks to all of u, i think my husband will not pass the minimum salary requirements, maybe next year...
anyway, is it fine if i change work, coz somebody told me that it is hard to get an upgrade for a qadama visa to a regular working visa. I mean if i am a household worker now is it possible for me to apply for a clerical job, or telemarketing or call center jobs?

chevydjak's picture

chevydjak said yes you can... ...

I did that.

Agree to Qatarisun...no need for NOC... as long as you meet all the requirements.

And your sponsor will not going to BAN you here in Qatar...

If may friend ka na mag-aasikaso ng papel mo for example in Dubai... Bahrain... pwede ka duon...then duon mo wait ang visa mo paglabas dito.

Nag risk ako nuon kasi me offer din ako nung time na un sa Jebel Ali... kaya I decided na sa Dubai mag-exit...with some help of my friends :D

Ang importante lang makalabas ka...
