TRAVEL IMPEDIMENTS
Needed your ideas guys...
I have just renewed my passport but my Residence Visa (which is still valid til May 2010) is still on my old passport.
Would I be allowed to travel out and back to Qatar.
So far, our PRO can not give a precise answer on this.
Thanks in advance for the replies.

Fareena, ask your PRO to transfer the Resident Visa ...Ask your PRO to transfer the Resident Visa to your new passport. I know people who've done the same. It's a very straight-forward procedure.

thanks Happy Happy for the kind reply ...Yup! our PRO just taken my old and new passports. He said he would be at the Immigaration tom first thing in the morning as he is not very familiar with the procedure and I told him i need to travel to the USA next week and cant be postponed. Bless this hard-working PRO of ours. Always on his feet.
Makes me feel better now that the procedure can be swift.
