People park in my Garage!
The building that I stay in has covered parking. Its 8 garages for respective flats.
More than often we have cases where people park into our garage and this causes discomfort cause almost every flat has about 2 cars - We have 3 in our case!
So what I usually do is I block the car so the person can't exit. I make him come to my door and then I explain that is my car park and your shouldn't be parking here.
There was a case recently when an arab lady was creating so much noise that I blocked her Landcruiser. I was like, you are in my garage - this is not the tone you are supposed to be talking with...she said she would call the police, and I said - Go ahead! You are in my freaking parking space!
Anyways, She apologised and I moved my car.
Today, the same thing happend with one of our neighbors. He blocked the car & guess what?! Cops came and ticketed my neighbor!! What the heck!?
That is our GARAGE?! We are paying a monthly rental for it and how can the cops ticket my neighbor!?
Care to comment?! (Phew, lucky me, that someone didn't park in mine)

Let the air out ...A few times they come and find the air out of their tires they will certainly learn a lesson, sorry for you I guess calling the police is the only recourse. I had them parking practically on our trees for shade and driver and he didn't care at all.

I think your point would be better made if you simply stated that people park in your garage. Talk to your landlord and get the situation sorted out.

blocking another is again offense, for which there is fine ...what you should is fight for your rights with the landlord if he is not helpful then lodge complain

Traffic Police did the right thing ...No one is allowed to block any car under any circumstances. Luckily they did not tow his car and kept in custody.
What the neighbor can do is go to Capital Police and file a case against the person who parked in his garage.

The sad thing here is, sometimes i will find them doing the same and will park outside my building. Guess what happened? Someone scratched my car and I have to pay to fix the paint, who paid for that? The guy who parked in my parking? The one who did that? Or the police department? Of course no one did but me, from that time on i had to leave written notes asking them not to park there as it's my private parking.
It worked with some, but there was this guy who used this lie before in front of me with someone else and tried to do it with me. His excuse was, I came here to install anti-virus so I don't know I just parked anywhere. Told him that I heard that before, second I saw you coming from the building next to us so why here and not there. He put his head down and said nothing but sorry, sorry then left but i told him next time you park here you may not find your car as the traffic police might come to pull it and all expenses would be on you.

The second issue of who is entitled to use that spot is irrelevant.

Parking in parking places belonging to someone else.... ...happens at our apartments too... slowly getting ticked off with it...
but something that makes me even more angry, is when these twits drive up next to you on road, when you are queing and push in....
I want to devise some kind of contraption that comes out of my car and spikes the side of theirs, so when they drive off they tear holes into the side of their car... vindictive I know... but you have no idea how many near misses I have had with people just pushing into tiny spaces between me and the car infront of me, especially when they have gone down the slip road to deliberately avoid the traffic,cause they have no patience.

put up a sign like "PRIVATE PARKING" ...Both in English and Arabic...
Or Leave a NOTE saying so with a STERN WARNING that you'll call the police for him/her doing an illegal parking. It is an inconvenience but to show them that you're serious...that would give out a STONG MESSAGE that you're not the person they would like to mess around with...

What I used to do when I had this problem in Kuwait is to take a small stone, put it in the valve dust cap and let them drive off. What this does is let the air out slowly without them knowing. ;o)

go to toys r us or go sport ...and buy a couple of cheap cones (kind used for kids soccer) and put them in front of your spot each time you leave. Attach sign PRIVATE PARKING police will be notified immediately if you park here.

regular feature ...Me & my neighbour face this problem very often as there is a bank opposite our house. We use chain & lock but these idiots block the chain also. We called 999 but they say go to local police station.
We have no option but to think of some dreadful ways.
