Cost of living in qatar
Hello all,
I had got an offer to work at Qatar for 7000 QR. They will not provide accomodation. It is an automobile dealership. They had offerd me transportation.
How will you rate this offer ?
What might be the cost for a single bath attached room ?
I got a visiting visa now. They told me that actual will be issued later. is it like that ?

single room plus bath like the one i am staying in.........away from city is costing 2500 riyals. usually they issue a visit and then change to residency but if u come on the visit and if they dont prefer you they can always ask u to leave before the visa expires.

Depending on how much you eat.......from outside that is.......will come to around 20 - 25 riyals on an average per day

Job Controller.....means ...Job Controller.....means you will be mostly working in Industrial Area (Company Automobile workshop). Where the cars come for major servicing or repairs.
You could be lucky to find accomodation in Qr1000 (ie bedspace). Food if you eat through combined mess will be around QR 300. If you eat out 3 times add QR 2000. Since you are alone your average expense per month will be around Qr 3000 to 4000.
And will be able to save QR 3000 at least permonth.

Work visit will be converted to Work Visa ...Yes you will be getting first a Work visit visa, once arrived with this visa, your Qatar Career life will start with this Sponsor, so first think about your offer and benefits from the company and decide whether it is suitable to you, Check the company capacity, which nationalities are working and all....
