A certain type of people is blind with denial and the only cover of their weakness is to blame on somebody else.
With such attitude, improvement will be very slow!
Nobody is saying in what you call "the west", that Algeria and Egypt are not friends!
The incident was reported and some ignorant people from both sides just inflamed the situation wherever they could (streets and internet).
Please stop segregating east and west. That is so unhealthy! We are all citizens of the world and we all have duties and responsibility to respect all!

I follow Al-Jazeera and MBC-1 at night and see how they try to get Egyptian and Algerian football analysts and begin to provoke them all the time.
When things begin to get out of control, the media reminds both parties that this is just a game and we are all brothers!!!
MBC-1 and Al-Jazeera are the main provokers of these problems.. just watch them and you will see the real facts.

Abdulnasser push arab for unfair war which made them loose a lot, he wanted to fight Israel with a hungry and uneducated nations, instead of building the country he killed the democracy and helped the ignorants and the farmers to overcome the merchants!! he destroied the cconomy!! he occupied Syria and killed all the democratic Parties, Syria was going to be better than Europe, He cheated arabs with arablize feeling, then the next one alsadat left the arabs in the middle way and gave them his back with (khyana) agreement with Israel which force them to be against Gazza till now
All the arabs disasters came from Egypt!!!
