What is the best currency of my Salary in Qa?
Guys, yesterday I was called by our top management and they told me that in the near future perhaps Qatar government as well as other Gulf country will unpeg their currecy againts US Dollar. My CEO want to make sure that all employee will get a fair salary in their favourable currency. So our CEO asked me to do some survey in the company to get feedback from all employee what currency of their salary they want. Here is the option:
a) Stay with Qatari Riyals
b) Paid with US Dollars
c) Paid with Euro
d) Paid with employee country of origin currency.
Once we make a choise then it cannot change until next year or next January. For exp. if your January 2010 salary is QAR 36000 and you choose to get paid in USD for equivalent of US$ 10,000 (depend on January currency) then you will receive US$ 10,000 flat every month no matter Qatari Riyals value against US Dollar vice verse..
Our top Management give me one week time for survey. Could you please give me the feedback by this week end whilst I'm collecting feedback internally? Thank you...

If I choose Qatari Riyal, will it be always stronger against US Dollar or drop from January to next January?

Unpegging Qatar Riyal for ...Unpegging Qatar Riyal for sure will make it appreciate past the US dollar. For instance in the case of baharain. Its wise to stay with QR.

as you aware, $ is not stronger now a days.. day by day the value is decreasing.
Earlier people use to convert the local currency and save in $, so that when they exchange $ against their local currency, they get a good amount of profit.
As of today, the scenario is changed now, wise man do not convert and save in $. Instead they save in Euros.
According to * me * Euro is much stronger now, than compared to any currency.

Khemcho, I'm not sure ...Khemcho, I'm not sure yet...US Dollar will be stronger again if Oil Price increased...Oil controlled by US Base Giant Oil company....Perhaps I need to get paid in Yuan China because their economic is continously stable and stronger..
