Where is good for a good night out in Doha?
Who can I go with? Where can I meet people who would like to go out to clubs and bars? What do I need to have with me to get into bars and clubs here in Qatar?
Any help would be greatly appreciated and also if anyone fancies going for a night out...give me a shout!

No not gay...just want to get out and about and get absolutely on it!!! Not fussed about going with a girl but want to know if there are places you can meet girls here?! And I mean in a legal manner! HAHA!

I have been here nearly 5 ...I have been here nearly 5 months now. But have avoided going out on weekends so far. So I am not going to be much help here. But through use of QL I have now received invitations from those I talk to on here. If you hang around QL long enough you will soon come across like minded people that do go out.
If ever I have an really really bad week, and desperately need a drink, I think I would either head to the Irish Harp in the Sheriton or one of the many bars I believe are in the Ramada which for me is closer.
I know a lot of QLers go to both of these locations.
Normally threads like this take a bashing, you are lucky you haven't been annihilated by sarcastic comments.

Yakitori ...Doha is hard work but you get there eventually, hitting down on a lot of the parties at the W & Pearl (Romanian night), all the various events that go on, sports and through your own social groups, work colleagues is the only way to expand your social circle properly. Lots of wierdos out there! It was a big change for me coming from London but its all about the jet setting mate, 40 mins to Dubai 20 mins to Bahrain mix it up a little. Qatar can be a blast but you got go out of your way to be sociable to make it work in the beggining and then everything falls in place.
