Spanish S L G ...There is the Spanish speaking ladies group - most of whom do not work
They tend to be child and husband focused and form 'cliques'.
Their club costs 150QR for membership.....and I have never worked out why.
QNHG only charges about 20QR
Qatari charges nothing and look at everything DaRuDe organises!

Sí que hay españoles... ...... en Doha somos un grupo de 7 u 8 de una compañía que trabaja para Karhamaa.
Sé que hay más españoles por ahí, porque hay un par de proyectos gordos en Ras Laffan, pero aún no nos hemos encontrado (yo personalmente, al menos).

Spanish Speaking Group ...Under the heading here of Qatar Groups there is a group of "Latinos", so I am not sure if that is the same group that the ladies above refer to.
Creo que hay muchos grupos latinos porque estan en todo el mundo donde hay petrol. Vamos hacer una fiesta grande! Puedes llamar a las embajadas y los colegios internacionales tambien, siempre tienen grupos. Suerte!

there is an spanish course in Satellite TV you can follow.
Look for www.holaquetal.com (to change language, top-right).
Lessons are broadcasted in TVE-international (you can tune by satellite or check in the web).
Im not sure about the schedule sorry, I have seen few times in TV, so it must be in afternoon/evenings.
