When you ask "Why me?"
Something worth sharing to you guys.
Have u ever found yourself asking the question " Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?" This is a question I have been questioned numerous times from people in pain and suffering from transistions and uncertainty of LIFE. Faced with working abroad, loss of loved ones, hurt from struggling relationship, the longing for HOME, the seperation from children and endless hours of work can often leave people bewildered, confused or angry in the state of grief. In those times when PAIN seems to have no end and you find yourself in a sense of helplessness, I encourage you to HOLD ON to your FAITH.
Instead of asking, "Why am I suffering""...it may be more appropriate to ask, "While I suffer, please give me strength to persevere and faith to see me through the Storm.
There is a story of the sole survivor of a shipwreck that tells or teaches a USEFUL spiritual lesson. In the 17th Century, a sailing vessel crossing the Pacific was battered and broken by a fierce typhoon. The one survivor managed to land upon a small, uninhabited island. He was able to do this by clinging desperately to a wooden beam from the ship. After much trouble and considerable effort, he built a crude hut where he placed all the belongings that had washed ashore from the sinking ship. Each day, he prayed for the deliverance and continually scanned the ocean horizon to hail any ships that might pass by.
One day, upon returning from searching for food, he was horrified to find his hut in FLAMES. Everything he had was gone. Feeling that things could get no worse, the man look toward heaven and cursed GOD; about three hours later, however, a ship arrived and the captain said, "We saw your SMOKE SIGNAL"...
Whatever God you pray to, He helps and guides us in unusual and unexpected ways...While it is OK to ask on occasion,"Why me??"... remember that we are never left forsaken...

Thanks for posting this ...You are absolutely right! The more that we need to cling to God in times of pain and suffering and I myself had experienced the wonderful ways God had restored me afterwards. I don't know where I would be now if not with God's love and guidance. I will never be outside God's hands especially in times of trouble. He is my refuge and my fortress, AMEN!
God bless you ....

Thanks. Each of us has his ...Thanks. Each of us has his own beliefs. I agree with the sentiments innthe article and my belief helps me during hard times.
I also realise that others may not be the same as me. So, to each his own.

in all situations ...we should always thank HIM coz He allows things to happen for a reason, even if sometimes it's hard to understand the reasons behind. Let's just put all our TRUST in HIM who knows everything... FAITH is believing in something without guarantee

God is so good, for He knows ...God is so good,
for He knows all our hearts desires
He knows everything
He knows what is the best for us...
and His power and mercy
is always with us
He allows those trials & challenges
to come into our lives to teach
us & to make us strong...
as a person and as a believer
that's why if we surrender everything
to Him, we don't have to worry
for he is faithful to all His promises...

We always thank GOD…we ...We always thank GOD…we constantly place him in our everyday life.
I might not be good but I’m trying to be one…encumbers might weaken my optimism but never my faith in GOD…
Mraming trials ang dumating sa buhay naming mag-asawa…bilang kaibigan, kababayan at kamag-anakan…mga problemang di ko naisip na dadanasin namin or to be specific “ko”...pag may nawala mas may higit na dumadating…pag nawawalan ako ng pag-asa biglang may dadating na bagong pag-asa…pag may mabigat akong problema, gumagaan… dahil sa taimtim na pagdadasal at paniniwala ko ke "GOD" :D
