Apa Perasaan Anda Bila masuk Restoran je Waiter and Waitress Belasah cakap Tagalog?
assalamualaikum sumer,
Harap sumer sihat insyaallah, sihat dari segi kesihatan, poket, keter, bini, laki, anak anak, rumah, mak ayah, mak mertua, pak mertua, abang, adik, kakak, abang ipar, kakak ipar, adik ipar, kawan kawan etc. (nak tulis sumer mau penuh skrin ni, nanti kena ban ngan nobleman).
aku kenalkan diri, panggil steel je ya. sampai doha tahun lepas bulan 7. sebelum doha, aku kerja kat Delhi India 2 tahun.. so aku bergelumang la ngan org org india kat sana. lepas tu dapat offer kat Doha.
Kapalterbang nak landing, aku tengok sumer padang pasir.. sentapz kejap sebab tak nampak bagunan.. tapi lepas landing tengok airport so lega la sikit cuma yg buat aku terpikir, aku tengok ramai betul india kat sini.. lebih lebih lagi pinoy.
Selepas seminggu duk kat sini, org duk cakap tagalog ngan aku, kabayan? kabayan? memula aku ingat dorang tanya aku nenek kebayan ke? aku jawap.. WHAT?? Excuse ME?? nenek kebayan? I dont know!!
lepas tanya ngan budak budak kat opis baru tau kabayan tu pinoy.. ooOOOooo kisahnya.. experiance tu..
yg menjadi jadinya.. sampai sekarang ni, selepas 8 bulan aku kat sini.. baru 8 bulan.. nobleman tu dah bertahun tahun, Chip tu pun dah bertahun tahun.. aku dah naik tensen bila pergi restoran drg duk bantai cakap pinoy.. aku angguk angguk paler kasi drg habih cakap pastu aku bantai cakap melayu.. padan muka drg terus garuk kepala.. pastu baru nak sorry sorry.. tensen tol aku.
aku rasa cam nak pakai tshirt tulis besau besau I AM MALAYSIAN OKEK.. TENGS!!
anyway, aku nak la jugak tanyakan geng geng yg kat sini mana yg dah biasa tu.. apa kah perasaan anda? boleh la citer citer sikit.. mesti banyak yg kelakar kan.
begitulah al kisahnya pasal aku kat doha serba sedikit.. lain kali aku citer lagi.. banyak pengalaman aku kat sini..

Tapi ada juga yg ada manners, tanya dulu kita "Are you from Philippines....Indonesia.......Singapore.....?" Biasanya nama Malaysia yg terakhir sekali diorang sebut. May be we should do more to introduce our country and its people kepada orang-orang kat sini.
Biasanya mereka yg pernah datang kerja di Malaysia (those Bangla / Nepalese), they would make the right guess.

----> Excuse for gatecrashing malaysian group. This is also happens alot to me. I find it rather annoying. Most of the time i just ignore it till they speak to me in English. Even filipina shopkeeper in the shops assuming when you are having asian looking you must be a filipino and speak tagalog. Oh yeah right .... lol

Yeah, it's quite annoying ...Yeah, it's quite annoying actually, normally when they talked tagalog to me, I will just ignore them until they speak in English to me. I know it's quite rude what I'm doing but hey, I could pretend that I'm not sure are they talking to me or not..

This happens to me a lot as ...This happens to me a lot as well back in Singapore. Now you know how annoying it was for us Filipinos. But I'm used to it now.... And I enjoy satay and rojak....lol

But I was in Hush Puppies once to try out some sandals and this Asian guy just walked up to me, dumped a shoe in my hand and said 'size xx, please'!! I mean, come on! Rasa dah pakai smart dah.

Seri Kebaya ...I went to try out food at Seri Kebaya the other day. I was caught by surprise that the waitresses there are also "kakakabayan". I still remember last year when the announcement was made at the Embassy on the opening of the first Malaysian restaurant in Qatar, the Owner was telling that all the workers at the restaurant will be Malaysians.
Sooooo frustrated......tidak mencerminkan budaya Malaysia......

but if it was the old me, i would've probly tossed the shoe over my shoulder while giving him my sweet saccharine smile. sigh... motherhood makes you all soft...DH had a good laugh. he was watching me the whole time!

hhaahahhaa......... ...aku dah agak benda2 mcm ni akan berlaku punyer kat Qatar / ME......so aku beli bendera kecik2 byk2...... sebab gua keje kat laut n kena pakai coverall so gua pon jahit la bendera msia kat coverall...... kalo diorg filipino ckp tagalog ngn aku... aku bantai ckp melayu.....kalo dia masih ckp tagalog aku ckp......B***H PAK HANG......hahhahaa........ selalu nyer lepas tu diorg mcm paham n akan ty "from where?" ....aku ckp la from msia.....hehhehee....senang jer.......tp nampak mcm kasar n xde manners la kan...... tp aku tensen beb.... mula2 dulu ok la.... pastu dah jd mcm iritating.....fed-up aku.... aku mg pantang kalo org panggil aku "pare"......sebab aku bkn pare..... kalo sapa2 panggil pare....mmg bersembur kuar ayat2 kasar kat mulut dlm bahasa melayu...... pastu gerenti org kat tempat tu tak panggil aku pare lagi...hehhehehhe....
