2008 Election: Malaysia has decided
BN wins federal govt but opposition takes five states
KUALA LUMPUR: The Barisan Nasional will form the next Government as it has won more than half the parliamentary seats.
However, the coalition suffered some of the greatest defeats in its history. Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, in accepting the results, said this was clear proof of democracy at work in the country.
Among the results yesterday were:
- The Barisan lost Kedah, Penang, Perak and Selangor,
- PAS strengthened grip on Kelantan,
- Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting won in their seats,
- Among ministers who lost their seats were Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin,
- Gerakan acting president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon lost to Dr P. Ramasamy in the Batu Kawan parliamentary seat.
Meanwhile, party leaders urged for calm and police have banned all victory celebrations.

It comes down to pride I think ...Pak Lah's already been accused of 'destroying' BN for it worst election performance in history. Voluntarily stepping down would be admitting his failure, although that'd be the right thing to do. He needs to feel more pressure.
I liked him, but he gave too much power to son-in-law. That was his biggest undoing.

Malaysian Politicians ...Bila ada isu AP kereta kat MITI, Rafidah Aziz didesak letak jawatan, tapi enggan.
Bila MR2 retak, Samy Vellu didesak letak jawatan, tapi masih bertahan.
Bila dah kalah PRU2008, Pak Lah disuruh letak jawatan, pun masih nak pegang jawatan.
Itulah hakikatnya Malaysian politicians. Dalam hal ni kita patut puji Chua Soi Lek & Dr Koh Tsu Koon, tak payah suruh, sendiri sedar, offer letak jawatan.

Negaraku ...Huiyoo... minyak nak mendadak lagi.. dulu RM1.92 /liter, skrg da naik RM2.70/liter, pastu lak dgr lagi nak naik RM3.30. Wahahahahahaha!!! Rasa mcm geli hati sbb otak aku terlintas nak tgk gelagat org kita melatah ngan kenaikkan mencanak camtu sekali. Dia org budget by end of this month or next month(July). Aku nak bini kat umah sekarang da rajin kerja shift masak kat dapur sbb nk cut cost harian, tp byk mane bleh nak save, once minyak naik, sume brg naik, correct or not?
Satu issue yg aku x paham2 bab harga minyak dunia ni, OPEC yg tentu kan ke atau speculator yg speculate? Korang kan bab minyak ni terror2 belaka, bleh x share sket ngan hamba Allah ni, blur memanjang bab ni. Dan klu ada lubang bab IT network tok sah segan2 minta nak forward kan CV hamba nih, boleh. Wahahahahha!
Lagi issue terbaru, dgr desas desus lagi Api nak naik jgk, wahahahha!! Alasan nye, cost bahan api makin naik TNB tak larat nak dok tanggung hutang. Klu da tau cost bahan api mahal, dok pancut duit rakyat wat projek empangan hydro nape x focus ke situ? Last2 baru mmber dpt tau, tu sume sbb kroni nak jaga pinggan mangkuk beras dia org, dah tu, aku anak beranak dok mengelap pinggan je la, x pyh masak nasi sbb sume brg da naik. HUAAAA!!
