Bukak topik apa pun kat sini mesti melencung ke topik makanan lolz
Hi all, assalamualaikum.
Steel observed and noted that what ever topic been set in here for sure mesti melencung ke bab makanan.. nasi lemak la, petai la, tempe la, macam macam lol.
But Steel lom nampak lagi ada member yg offer nak masak and jemput makan or gather ramai ramai pot luck ke kan.. tapi kalau cerita bab makann amboii memasingg.. berbagai bagai idea sampai habis tissue steel sekotak sebab lap air liur yg duk meleleh bila baca bab makanan u all taip kat sini lmao.
anyway, sebenarnyakan.. semua yg kat sini dah lama tak makan makanan malaysia and rindu la tu.. lol
untung cip dah balik malaysia.. puas la dia bokoh rojak, nasi lemak, cendol, eh rojak kat subang tu yg kat Gazeebo opposite Shell tu ada lagi ke? for sure beratur cam beli tiket konsert mariah carrey lol
cip baca ni for sure me kena sound kang so steel stop sini je lah ya.
kuih bakar ngan kuih lapis kat restoran kebaya tu sedap juga eh? me dah try.. and according to the owner of kebaya, they still not able to get malaysian chef.. rasanya kalau dah dapat chef frm malaysia for sure ada nasi campur lepas ni.. ikan terubuk masak lemak cili padi tempoyak.. sedap tu

I missing all these glorious foods... rojak, satay & lontong, nasi lemak, mee rebus, laksa, beef rendang, kangkong belacan, kambing sup, fish head curry (is that Indian??), clams in sambal paste (don't know the Malay term). Oh, a dessert of chendol and lapis kui. Oh dear, I'm full now, I need a tea tarik..
I wish I know where to find all these here in Doha.

Spicemom..nak tanya sikit...what should i bring from mesia (food stuff)??...i'm packing my stuff ---shipping via sea...dont know what to buy...someone suggested to bring lots of belacan, kaya-yeos, curry ayam-yeo's, rempah2?, anything else...stuff that can't find (or ridiculously expensive) in qatar.

DHL - sorry for the late ...DHL - sorry for the late reply as tis been a busy weekend, ok back to yr question actually i did not put my foodstuff in the container instead i brought it with me on the flight (being attached to the airlines we are given certain allowance for our baggage to be brought over). am afraid the foodstuff may go to waste due to being in the heat etc etc. (hope this helps which means ya hafta find another way of bringin the foodstuff over)
steel- sorry mate i have just enough till my next trip as the last trip last mth i did not manage to bring foodstuff back as my better half decided to get himself a new set of golf clubs (lol so i told him that if we were to run out of anything fr malaysia then golf clubs tu boleh i buat soup or curry or somethin............hehehhehhhe)life is abt choices is either his golf set or my groceries so looks like his golf set won...........roflol. hope to go back next mth for a grocery run(hehehehhee my excuse for wanting to go back and jalan jalan and makan makan..............shshshhshhshshhsh)

before yes we managed to ...before yes we managed to get away with it too but recently not and then again who knows if they keep changin the rules whenever so wats best for us now is to have one set here and another back home so no need to ke hulu ke hilir with the dang golf set.also that is why i noticed a few of my friends who go on holiday with a smaller golf bag with just a few clubs in it instead of the whole thing......

Hi KB so far the food stuff sent by mail although were opened to be checked all came in 'one piece' so to speak but it will take like forever. once a package took a mth to get to me.........here it isnt as strict as in some places, but if it were bottles in the package that would be the first thing they check just to ensure it is not alcohol. so good luck there..........
