What can I expect to save
As a single man earning 13000 a month with flights, accommodation, and utilities provided, would it be unreasonable to expect a good standard of living and send home half that?

that's 13k in your POCKET, ...that's 13k in your POCKET, and you're single. You'll have a very good life on that.
At max you'd end up spending 5k on various bills, food and transport.
It's possible for sure and then some ^_^

Savings ...You can certainly save a minimum of 50% of your income. In fact, you have no avenues to spend the other 50% of income in Qatar. May be you can save upto 75% also.
