Where can I find really good children's toys? I tried the Toys R Us and wasn't too impressed.
Also, does anyone know of really good nurseries around the Qatar Foundation? Anything I need to look out for?

Doha English Speaking ...Doha English Speaking School if you can get in. The nursery is good there.
Stepone i do think your post about the said nursery a bit over the top now. If you want to advertise the school do post in classified.

Toys ...at mumuvtwins:
you can find quit good quality toys at early learning centre ELC (Hyatt Plaza, CityCenter and afaik Landmark). They have many wooden toys (which I like).
Found the Hyatt place better than in Citycenter.

my opinion ...I really dont think u can pick out the best educational system. Being an Indian I hear a lot of negative comments abt our education system, but i also know the plus points of it and having studied with that system i dont feel i missed out on anything.This may not be the answer u're looking for but i just feel that the family and home can be the best place for a childs education.
