I am not at all a doll ethusiast but after coming here I heard there is so much of it in Demand. Coming from Dubai I felt there is so much demand here......... Dubai market it is flooded with chinese dolls.......you will trip and fall on them........

i thought all charan obsessed  about was Ladyboys :)

I think there's an opportunity for baby stuff. If you could get hold of Bonds clothes youd do so well! Also, quirky baby things like nursing necklaces and maybe some funky breastfeeding covers. Also things like oilatum and teetha!

 Damagum, chinese fabrics (silk), good jackets (like Tang)and dresses, bedspreads etc. of good quality silk would sell very well, I am sure.

I loved all those things when I lived in China. 

 All the Indian stuff sells very well among the Western expatriates here,so why not Chinese things? 

Make sure it is of good quality though...oh, and rosewood items would sell very well too, I think.

.... the little ones that you get with Peking Duck. Want to cook my own here (takes over 6 hours but well worth it), but no point coz I can't find the pancakes and none of the restaurants will sell them to me.

Probably not worth opening a whole shop just for those, though
