Any good eating places?
I'v had a good snoop around today and last night.
I'm on day 4 by the way.
Loads of places to eat, but I would love some guidence on what is good and where to go.
I love trying new things and will eat almost anything, I'm not just looking for "posh" resturants by the way, I love going into little back street places with great food that the workers go to and I will look odd, who cares.
So any tips you lot?
I'm on the prowl again tomorrow and I'm staying near the Sports round-about and I have no car yet, if that helps with the general area.

I've been to one of then though, the Kebab King.
I stumbled into there after my marathon walk last Friday.
WhatI had was ok, maybe I need to try other things on the menu.

Try Romano's Macaroni grill at villagio ...they have the most amazing tiramisu, the best I've ever had actually, and what's better is it's fat free! their cheese cake is equally mouth watering. You could also try Za Moda at Intercon, their pasta is just divine...a bit on the pricey side though.
I'm really picky when it comes to kebab, so the only place that does it for me is Asherij cafe at souq Waqif. It's only 8 qr a plate. Plus they have really good shisha. Hope this helps!!

Update ...Awtar restaurant is not that good quality as it used to be. This is a normal epidemic with Doha restaurants. Like what happened to Assaha restaurant. They all start good then gradually regret the good quality
