New Doha Airport - Facts & Figures
The Doha new Airport, which is expected to start its operation in mid-2013 will be the world’s 5th largest airport. The airport will offer world-class travel experience with the highest standards that any airport in the world can give.
The new airport of Doha combines highly advanced technology, beautiful design, enhanced security features and convenient passenger facilities. Here are some more facts about Doha new airport:
The airport will handle fifty million passengers, with the maximum capacity of handling 90 million passengers.
The airport will handle two million tons of cargo and over 320000 flights every year.
The duty-free shopping and check-in areas will be twelve times larger than those at the present Doha airport.
New Doha airport
The airport is located on a land area of more than 22 sq. kms.
The terminals incorporate solar-resistant coatings, CO2 sensors and latest fire and other hazard detecting sensors.
The new Doha airport is set to create massive 50,000 new jobs.
The airport will be surrounded by 5 artificial islands.
It is one of the first airports in the world to be designed with the new giant aircraft Airbus A380 in mind.
There will be 175 check-in counters.
The airport will have 42 parking bays for aircrafts.
It will have 8 baggage-claim belts.
The airport will have desert plants growing in recycled water.
The airport will have two runways, one of which will be the longest runways in Western Asia.
Three radar systems will scan the runway.

NP, I am fond of watching ...NP, I am fond of watching wild life and understanding behavioural intricacies of wild animals in their own communities. I am not in favour of keeping an animal as pet but if I found a helpless puppy or kitty I would definitely give it shelter and food for some days till it got strong to survive by itself.

I am an animal lover too...i am keeping pets since i was like 7 year old..ive done rescue operations on two cats and a pigeon too ...n have given shelter to a pregnant Dog and looked after its puppy till twas able to walk(shhhhh...my mom still dusn know about this)..
Knight...National Geography and Animal Planet are my favorite chanels :)

Knight : you may be only ...Knight : you may be only watching animals but i love to care for them. Thier behaviuor is so attaching that you cannot stop urself caring for them.
Like i can say i had a fish called FlowerHorn. One of my fav. pet fish. She was just a finer long when i bought it from the market which was for 150 INR. She was so sweet sometimes she used to wonder whats happening in the family by jumping out of the tank. She was very strong enough and smart too. Later after two years she she became alomost half long of my hand (cost was 1500 INR) and i cudnt kip it so gave to some1 else for free.
The same goes wid rabbits too.
Anyways dis post is not for pets. Others just chill dont start firing me.
