Good Resturant
Yesterday I went to this Iranian restaurant, man it was amazing... If you have just came to Qatar, or you have been here for sometime and wanted to see some real oriental restaurant just like what you see on TV then this is the place to go... the restaurant name is "Asfahan Gardens" حدائق اصفهان...
- the place is covered with mosaic mirrors and Iranian painting artwork...- Simi private Oriental seating areas ( and for those who cant sit on the ground there is a second floor that has chairs and tables= but you will be missing half of the fun).- Music Band playing on Oriental instruments and singing Iranian Music... (really puts you in the mood...- Best of all, is the food... we ordered Mixed grill and My god how delicious it was.- Pricing was the worst part... it was a bit too expensive the bill was 480 Riyals for 3 people although we only ordered the following:1. Appetizers for 32. Mixed grill for 33. Very Nice yogurt (drink ) for 34. tea pot.
Location was at Grand Hamad street - The Old Souq - main intrance- 400 meters inside
the interance is a bit vague so you can easily miss it... so ask around and you will find it
and when before you go, I guess you better make a reservation because you dont know if you could get a place or not the phone number is 5287521
I will say this... although I am an arab, it was a different experience for me and was totally worth it.

agree ...the place is amazing......we stumbled across it but had to wait 30 mins to get a cubicle as its that busy this was at 10 pm !!!
so recommend you book first esp at weekends.
oh and take your camera....

yeah darude ...my sis was in town so i tried all these new places. Assaha on old airport road is another great place ........the surroundings plus the food is excellent.
just need to find a good indian restaurant now !!! that sells proper desi food!!
