Mums in Doha Coffee Morning - the first one in 2010!
Dear Ladies,
first of all I hope you all had a wonderful New Year wherever you were.
It is now time to announce another Coffee Morning, the first one in 2010. Due to health reasons I was not able to schedule a coffee morning during the month of January, so am hoping to see many of you back with us on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11th. We will meet in Columbus Cafe in Villaggio starting at 9,30 a.m.
I hope to see many of our regular members and also welcome many new ones this year! Just remember, as long as you are female, children or not, you are always welcome to come along!

Hello Ladies! ...Please note the CHANGE OF DATE for this venue. After posting this event I found out that Expatwoman Qatar holds their coffee mornings every wednesday at Columbus Cafe Villaggio since January 1st, so I thought it would be better to change it due to seating availability. Lisa from EW would have loved for us to be there too but there is just not enough seating available as their Coffee Morning had 40 ladies attending last week.

Just a small note, Columbus ...Just a small note, Columbus Cafe-Landmark was recently re-opened after being closed by Municipality for more than 2 weeks for not meeting the minimum health requirements; Villagio wouldn’t be any better. I think people should go to Starbucks.

Starbucks... ...... is overrated and overpriced. Spacewise it is also not suitable for our purposes - our venues need to have enough seating for sometimes close to 80 people. I have nothing to complain about Columbus and in the end what caused the Landmark branch to close down has nothing to do with the Villaggio branch. The manager of that place is always on top of things and we are all very satisfied customers :)

Hello Amina - Saturday morning get-togethers... ...... are more difficult to organize because normally our Mums want to spend time with their families. I also believe that shopping malls (coffee shops) are too busy on weekends for us to monopolize such a big area for our coffee mornings.

Thank you to all the mums / ladies... ...... who turned up today. The gathering was so successful and I want to say hello and welcome again to the new mums who showed today. I will upload the photos tomorrow morning and get them on this topic.
I really enjoyed this morning so watch out for some more events to come - childrens' playdates in the Park while the weather is good and the coming up Coffee Morning in 2 weeks time.

Hi mums... ...I'm just a new member here in our group. Sad to say I wasn't able to attend yesterday at Columbus cafe at Villagio, busy preparing our things heading to my home country for a week vacation.
Hope to see you all on the next Coffee Morning. By the way how will I know who's the members in the future Coffee Morning when I get there?
