I would blame contrator ...It more of a fault on contractor side. This could happen to any of us. Remember how many times we thought we are doing a reverse and car moved forward. Specially with some of the weather condition recently, it could happen to anyone of us. It is contractor who should be implementing all the safety measures.

Well it can happen to anyone. sometimes you totally ignore simple things because of some other things going on in your mind. Better to concentrate on road and avoid such accidents. =)

has anybody realized that ...has anybody realized that the liability in the party in charge of the concerned area (lack of security barriers and lack of signs warning the danger); and that leaves us the blame to one of these parties:
- local authorities, if its a public site;
- contractor if its a construction site;
either way, the authorities failed to enforce and monitor implementation of statutory regulations.... as usual TIQ!

You do not see a woman up the arse of another car flashing and beeping, intimidating the driver in front or completely cutting you up!! Men here are the worst drivers I have ever come across..... :-)

I had to make a lot alteration to Mrs UkEng car so she would be at ease with parking by installing rear and side sensors...:)
