Org baru nak tanya skit

Assalamualaikum,

Saya nak tanya beberapa soalan.Di harap ada yg dpt membantu..Insya allah, kalau ada rezeki saya, dan kena dgn offer yg di beri. saya akan berkerja di Qatar.But, before that nak tau gak psl few thing..Recently my uncle ada tanya kalau i nak kerja dgn company kawan dia kat Qatar and i told him m interested lah. He asked me what is my salary expectation..That is something yg i tak leh nak jawab..sbb i tak tau baper average Sect/PA salary kat sana..The questions are as below;

1- What is the salary scale for a Secretary/PA in Qatar?.

2- Food wise susah tak nak makan kat sana..meaning,senang tak nak cari bahan2 utk masakan melayu kat sana..atau kena perlbagaikan bahan2..or no choice, mknan arab jer sumer..actually, i tak kisah sgt. cuma sekali sekala nak juga makan makanan kita...

3- Barang2 mahal sgt ke kat sana?..Mcm baju ker, or even for toiletries ke, anything la..

4- How abt transportation,byk tak public transport kat sana if we want to move around?..

5- Betul ke Qatar ni laidback country?..org dia relex jer...tak mcm Dubai life in the fast lane kira2 nya... 

 
sekali makan may be dlm QR20-30 kot.....itu yg simple mcm half BBQ chicken & ayaq tin.....jgn risau makan kat sini smua halal......babi tak de jual....even u makan kat kedai cina pn gerenti halal....jgn risau ok...

sebulan kalo u spend QR1000 cukup rasa nyer even kalo u beli barang mentah n masak.......

sini teksi mahal.....bas mcm sial.....convenience actually tp ramai org la......u know what i mean.....n mcm2 bau ada......hahhahah

 qatar kalo u dok sorg....with no famili...mmg boring giler.......hahahaha...... ada la mall yg besar2 tp itu je lah.....pantai ada......tp tak byk walaupon qatar ni dikelilingi oleh laut.....

 dvd dlm qr10-20 sekeping... itu yg prirate....ori mau cecah qr80-100.....hahhaha....cinema dlm QR30 satu muvee.....malaysia RM10 jer.....pastu org dia suka ckp2 dlm cinema N main HP....

diorg ada mention tak...once u entered Qatar...u xleh kluar dr qatar melainkan kena mintak exit permit...haaaa.....kira mcm big prison le qatar ni.....heheheh.....kalo tak...try tanya....diorg never ever mention this.....n kalo u nak shift co kat sini kena ada release letter ..kalo x u kena ban from working in qatar for 2 years...diorg ada mention x psl ni...? tanya ye jgn tak tanya..... 

yes qatar is a laid back country......kalo u ni type yg all out punyer org...this country never meant 4 u...... kalo nak cr duit n saving......welkem to da club..... tp beware ngn drivers kat sini...drive mcm org gila....reckless drivers byk kat qatar....main hon sesuka hati......imagine this.....even u nk kuar simpang n kete byk u xleh kuar....driver kat belakang u akan hon giler2 kat u....haaaa....mcm ytu la diorg driving kat qatar.....kalo u jln kaki...diorg mcm nak langgar u jer.....series [this post has broken our guidelines by using bad language - you will be removed from QL if this continues]! apa yg gua tgk....qataris mmg bawak kete mcm sial.....yg lain2 tu kira kurang sket je gila dr qataris......

barang2 kat sini.....yg murah adalah kete n petrol......super dlm QR0.70 N premium QR0.80...murah kan......kete kalo banding ngn msia mmg murah giler beb.....yang lain2 tu kira mahal sket la dr msia.....

 apa lagi ek? erm...kalo psl gaji gua tak tau.....biar org lain yg jawab...hahhahaa.....tp aku rasa la...at least basic je QR15k baru worth it datang qatar...ini my personal opinion la......

1. Not sure abt Driving here coz I myself tak drive...hehehe.

2. Jangan risau pasal nak tfr duit balik KL sbb kat sini berlambak-lambak western union. Kalau taknak pakai WU, boleh tfr duit guna TT thru money changer. I usually go to AL-Fardan atau Gulf.

3. Nak cari makanan senang insha'allah. Ada Thai food, Chinese, Japanese, Korean & Indonesian. Malaysian pun ade. Takyah risaulah. 

 4. Kalau setiap hari makan luar, spare dalam 2K kebawahlah just incase. 

Rajin2lah buka site MAQ (malaysian in Qatar) for any gethering to fill yr time here.. and 1 more thing, ENJOY!

1- As far as I know, they will offer ard 3K - 4K. Again, its depend on yr negotiation skill....ahem.

2- Food wise -pls refer komen diatas- . Kalau rajin nak masak, brg2 dapur utk asian kitchen boleh didapati di Shoprite, megamart or lulu hypermarket.

3- Biasa aje. Macam kat KL. Kalau nak best lagi shoppinglah waktu tengah sale.

4- Public transportation banyak, jgan risau tapi efficiency kureng. Teksi sapu berlambak-lambak. Kalau nak yg reliable one boleh try FOX limo. The best so far.

5- Ya betul! ini termasuklah customer service...kureng.

memang betul kawan2 tu cakap pasal life in qatar, u need to keep urself busy or bring ur family here to stay with u if u can..

the shopping mall compare to Bejaya Time Square is nothing...hahaha, but it still worth to spend time there..

if possible, try to get a transport ur self asap, because if u take bus u have to be get a seat with all the labour here....

do tell us how u feel about qatar once u arrived...

abt the international driving license if this is still 'on' apparently once you get yr RP yr international driving license is no longer valid so ya gotta go do yr drivin test and get the qatar driving license.

Tapi masalahnya kalau naik teksi ni pesal mahal cam naik limo eh? nak kata petrol mahal tak jugak baru 0.70 seliter.. hmmm.. rasanya sebab gaji dorang mahal satu, kedua sebab takder control kot.

i have no idea when i buka kedai runcit, but each time when i get back fr m'sia and put away the stocks i brought into my grocery room it does look like a mini kedai runcit......................lol (wat to do my 'boys' just love to eat so have to make sure all the 'ramuan' is there)

Aku baru je dapat offer keje dengan Almalki group kat Doha ni.  Aku nak tanya sikit, Dia orang nak aku buat medical check up kat Malaysia so any particular clinic tak ? 

Aku mungkin join in mid or early Jun and malam ni aku nak balik kl dulu.  Anyway all the best guys and harap kita boleh saling tolong menolong kat sini nanti .

Group ni buat construction and ada la beberapa business lain. Aku akan report duty on 1 June ni, mungkin stay kat muntazazsa dulu kot.

Aku nak cari rumah gak nanti tapi belum sure lagi kat mana....

I'm going to stay in qatar for 2 years start from June 08, and looking for the house to rent.  Anybody have an idea or maybe can help me to find a good house around QR 4 - 6 K.
