Sponsoring your husband
I have been living and working in Doha now for a year. My husband has just joined me and I need to sponsor him. Can someone please tell me how to go about it?
Also, what about exit visa's for him, as I have heard that it is not the same for a male spouse as it is for a female spouse.

ONLY LADIES FROM HAMAD HOSPITAL ARE ALLOWED TO SPONSOR THE SONS< DAUGHTERs that are beyond 18 years old and even the HUSBAND.
If you are from HAMAD, and one of the Senior Staffs, sure you can grab a residence permit for him

I'm sponsored by my wife ...My advice - get a decent PRO.
My wife is a GM of a small firm in Doha. I followed her to Doha with our son. She had to prove that she could financially support her family and produce her degree certificates.
We've both got multiple exit visas, as otherwise it ends up being complicated - she has to ask me whether she can leave, and I have to ask her ;)

My wife sponsors me.... .......but her employer took care of the paper work for us. But trust me..it is NOT just Nurses that can sponsor their husbands.
